Does paranormal activity increase when it’s stormy or low pressure?

No, there’s no real connection. Nobody has ever shown that ionized air has any impact on ghosts. It’s not a theory, just an idea that ghost hunters seem to like. The only connection I see is that thunderstorms are spooky. How many scary ghost movies feature a dark stormy night as a backdrop?

The theory states that the lightning ionizes the air, making it possible for spirits to gather energy to manifest themselves. So, in a way, yes. It can increase.

As with the first answer yes there is a link as it allows them to manifest more easily.

However due to stereotyping due to movies and stories people automatically think its spookier/scary at night during a thunderstorm and there are bound to be ghost about this could mean they judge things wrongly, thunder storms can be scary when you in the dark as it is.

p.s I am a believer, I just rule things out first and don’t jump to the first conclusion:-)

yes, when magnetic activity is stronger, the easiest the communication becomes for some reason. We become less blind to what’s really going on around during storms.

This article may answer some questions for you. A section of it touches on the effects of weather, geomagnetic activity, and solar activity. http://ghosts-hauntings.suite101.com/art icle.cfm/paranormal_investigations

I have seen no data that indicate there is a connection between weather phenomena and paranormal phenomena. As with anything else concerning the paranormal, "theories" of a connection between "energy" and spirits rule the day. Of course, there is no evidence to support these "theories", so it’s all just based on that which seems to makes sense to someone who has a low level of understanding.
